This is one part of a 4 part series that looks at the movie called What if. This movie is rumoured to be the next big thing in the style of the award winning “What the bleep do we know”. Here I talk about science and the scientific method and introduce the first clip from the movie. In this post I share with you the train of thought I have been going through since reading the passge in The Last Barrier by Reshad Feild. The main point of my jeremiad here (joking) are the unity of all religion once one penetrates their essence through a mystic understanding of them. I use a passage from Among the Dervishes by O.M Burke where he illustrates that there are many levels to reading and understanding the Koran – the text itself, the allegorical, the metaphysical and the mystic. Burke makes a good point that”The meaning of the words alters in accordance with the experiences of the people using them”. I through in a Rumi poem to illustrate a point. Please check it out thanks
