Daily Inspiration

We all somtimes find ourselves in places we dont want to be. At these tes when we have to dig deep we need some inspiration. I would like to devote a few blog entries a week to Daily inspiration…..justsharing things I’ve read or image or scenes from the daily life that inspire me, maybe they might inspire you too. If you feel that there is something inspiring I should add feel free to send it to me. Here is one inspiring things I read today.

Here is a passage from the Book The Path, written by Dr Javad Nurbaksh, the current  master of the Order,or polestar of the Age. For me his work and that of Idries Shah and Omar Ali Shah has really impacted me and helped me to grow from a melancholy youth to a courageous seeker:-)

 

In Persian the term used by the Sufis for love is ‘ishq’ a word derived from ‘ashaqah’ which is a type of vine. When this vine winds itself around a tree, the tree withers and dies. So, too, love of the world dries up and and turns yellow the tree of the body. But spiritual love withers the root of the self
