Ramadan Day 3: What does it mean to surrender ?
Hello Everyone,
I have been pondering all day what does it mean to surrender to the will of God? I dont mean whats surrender means to muslim or to christians, but in its purest state wahts does surrender mean in terms of our outlook way of acting and behavior.
The more I think of it the tougher the road to surrendering actually becomes in my mind. To me surrender is an all or nothing sort of thing, it mean complete detachment from the world and all of its allures and big sales and deals.
It means to me to be willing to experience both the wrath of God of God as well as his compassionate in the face of trials and tribulations and good time and happy times as well.
its very easy for us to get caught up in our lives, intellectually its easy tio hand over the controls to our lives but that means that we accept whatever happens to us as a gift from god whether great suffering pain. Of course great pain is amplified almost infinitely by our mind because of its attachment to this world.
What is surrender to the will of God to you whether you are muslim or not? leave some comments
